Some of the red flags present among providers certainly applies in this case. A). Has a convoluted and medically skewed lens, especially for a medical provider. No objectivity or empiricism in her approach that weighs all sides of challenging situations /conflicts. B). Also, takes an inordinate amount of time to return important messages and when she finally gets to them, responds rudely and in a curt manner. C). Down plays the urgency /seriousness of issues, with zero bedside manner. This has been observed for at least 5 months. Trifecta in a bad way, specifically if you don't have a large purse full of infinite insurance she can bill, endlessly. Previous reviews of 5 stars most likely reflect the opinion(s) of 1 visit instead of the entire picture.

I had my initial visit with Dr. El-Khatib today. I was looking for a new PCP since my previous PCPs were no longer with Hartford Healthcare. Dr. El-Khatib was very professional in my first visit while being an easy person to discuss my medical history with. Dr. El-Khatib has agreed to be my new PCP. I am looking forward to working with her in the future for my medical needs.

While coming into the office as a new patient, I wasn’t certain how my introductory visit would be handled. Dr. El-Khatib was very thorough while looking through my medical chart. She took the time to discuss many things with me. I am happy to have her as my new PCP.
