Dr. Longhitano is a real pro, personable, tuned in to both me and my family, and very concerned with maintaining my reasonably good health, even tho I'm 80.I'm finding this is the the case with many docs, especially among new hires to Htfd. Health where smaller hospitals have been purchased by H.H. The plus with the acquisitions is that you can see specialists in many surrounding towns without having to trek to Hartford. I would never have surgery anywhere but Htfd. Hosp.

This is my third visit with Dr. Longhitano. Although I have yet to see his face, I find him to be a very kind and thorough physician, with a dry sense of humor. My kind of doctor! He is working with me to combat the unwanted hypertension and hopefully decrease or eliminate the medication I don't want to be on. I feel we are well suited as physician and patient.

Dr. Longhitano is a wonderful cardiologist. He is very personable and caring doctor. I have been to him before I moved back from Georgia. The cardiologist I had in Georgia didn't care if you lived or died. Doesn't say much about their health care system does it. I came back to Connecticut for that reason, Dr. Longhitano cares about his patients. He's an awesome Cardiologist.
