Called to make an appointment and assign new PCP under new insurance plan. After providing all my details over the phone for about 15 mins, I was told that I cannot make a physical annual exam appt without first having an assessment appt which also has to be in person. When I asked questions trying to understand the rationale the representative hung up the phone to my face. Very disappointing customer service and patient assistance from Hartford Healthcare call center, and a total waste of time.

Dr. G. Is very personable and down to earth and makes me feel comfortable when discussing medical issues. Was with my former PCP for 30 yrs. and am very satisfied to make the decision to part ways for reasons I don't wish to expound on or to verbally bash anyone. Glad I took the advise of my wife and mother-in-law to give Dr. G. a try. Since then my son and daughter are now patients as well. The only downside I see is the office is 35 mins. from home and I wish it was closer but it's not a deal breaker.
