By far and none Dr Fisher is the best doctor! I have been a patient of his for 25 years now and thru all these years his care for me has been top of the game! Not sure of where my last review went, but I have been going to Dr. Fisher for decades and he is the top of the top the best of the best. The nicest, most compassionate, most caring, most knowledgeable, most considerate Doctor you will ever meet and he always knows what’s going on with you. He knows you personally and takes his time with you. Having said that ever since Hartford healthcare has taken over God forbid you’re sick. You’re not allowed to get an appointment or if you are sick you can’t get in for a week prior to Hartford healthcare taken over you could get in the same day. It didn’t necessarily have to be with Dr. Fisher. It could be with anybody and that was fine and now it’s nothing. I called on Monday. I had been coughing phlegm up. It just didn’t seem right. I was so sick and I was told I couldn’t get in to see anybody until the following Week. This never would’ve happened prior to Hartford healthcare taken over. And this is no reflection on the amazing Dr. Fisher, I ended up going to a walk-in and diagnosed with bronchitis. And imagine if I had waited. I will always go to this practice for Dr. Fisher. I would follow him to the end of the Earth with Hartford healthcare you’re a disappointment.

Doctor Fisher is hands-down one of the best doctors for the last nearly 4 decades That I’ve had the pleasure to be a patient of his. Having said that the office is not what it used to be since Hartford healthcare took over and that is still no reflection on Dr. Fisher. He is absolutely amazing but when you call and you’re sick and turns out you have bronchitis and they won’t see you or schedule you with anybody won’t do a telehealth can’t let you get an x-ray. Well then that’s when you know they’ve gone downhill. It’s very upsetting to me because they were never like this prior to Hartford healthcare taken over. They never want to see you unless it’s your physical. What is the point of being a doctors office? Again this is no shade on the most spectacular Dr. Fisher. He has done so well by my family for decades. Kindest Most intelligent, most professional, Doctor, man and human being

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Fishers for 2.5 years having moved from LI. My adult children (one of them a Yale trained vascular surgeon) put me on to him telling me he really respects Dr. Fisher’s expertise, straight forward no bull approach. The other quality I’ve found about Dr. Fisher is how carefully he listens to me. He looks right at me, speaks truth to me (even if I don’t always “like” the reality). I’m pretty healthy at 75+ but my weight isn’t where it should be. He’s been honest and straight with me and he has a kind straight, clear and truthful way of laying out what he assesses given his scientific medical knowledge, training and experience, is the best medical option to pursue. In addition, while he is a very serious, focused internist, he’s funny, supportive and kind. You kinda know he wants the best for you and as a result I listen and despite my difficulties with my food habits, I do my best to follow his wisdom. I’ve had a much better outcome with all of my medical professionals here with Yale and Hartford Health systems, with much better advice and much more attentive interactions from every level of medical profession to the receptionists and support staff in every practice in CT over my many years with top docs and offices. Dr. Fisher is a five star doc in my experience. I’m delighted my adult children found him and that he accepted me into his very jam packed practice.

For thirty some years I've been going to Dr. Fisher. He not only knows medicine, he knows non medical healing modalities such as nutritional supplements. He has referred me to excellent specialists when needed and always listens to my questions and concerns. I consider myself fortunate to have him as my primary care doctor.
