I rated recommending the care provider as "fair" because I was expecting to see an MD, not a NP. I recognize the need to meet patient demand with mid-level providers and value their clinical expertise. However, for a specialty care initial consultation (after waiting months to be seen) I should've been evaluated by the board certified physician to establish care and treatment plan.

Christs Prates approaches patient care from a holistic perspective. She goes beyond the primary presenting issue and points out the impact on the entire body. I have had a very bad experience with my other rheumatologist and was disheartened about my experience trying to get help. This experience made me feel optimistic about my treatment. She was very patient and thorough in explaining what the nexts steps would be. I felt at ease leaving the office thinking she would actually listen to my concerns and help me.
