I really like having Dr. Bautista as my primary. He’s very knowledgeable and I feel truly cares about me and my health. He is very accessible through MyCharts but also, when in person, takes time with me and answers any and all questions I have. He was there, with me, during my health crisis in 2023 and has been with me every step since. I am truly grateful for him and would recommend him to anyone (and already have to some).

Bio

Joseph Bautista, DO practices family medicine and sports medicine at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group’s practice at 3272 Main Street in Stratford. Regardless of visit, he is focused on prevention of significant diseases and musculoskeletal injuries, with an emphasis on health and wellness.

Dr. Bautista specializes in performing sports ultrasound guided injections as a nonsurgical treatment option for non-surgical candidate patients, or those who prefer more conservative therapies. He has extensive event and game coverage experience, and has served on the medical team for multiple marathons in New York City and for New York’s professional rugby team (Rugby United NY).

He received his medical degree New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, and completed his residency and fellowship at Northwell Health at Plainview Hospital in Plainview, NY. He is board certified in both family medicine and primary care sports medicine.
