I did refer a relative to my doctor because of her and staff care for patients. They made an appointment.

I have no conditions and did not need proposed treatments. My issue as stated before was with the lack of services and time spent with patient. I realize I am fortunate in not having and new issues this past year, but it has been many years since I have received a full exam, i.e. Ekg and other services.

I feel most doctors fall short on my recognizing and discussing risk associated with prescription meds like Statins, BP meds, etc. They tend to dismiss my concerns - or deny the risk altogether or say the benefits OUTWEIGH the risks. The patient should make the final decision re: risk/benefit analysis. WE have to LIVE WITH the ADVERSE EFFECT. NOT the doctors!

It was more of a question and answer session than a physical. I appreciate Dr. Parekh, but I feel since I went on Medicare the time and attention has dwindled. Since the practice fell under Hartford Healthcare there also was a drop off in personal attention. Not surprising, but very disappointing.
