I came to establish new PCP. MD showed not too much interest in my heath history. Asked only about taken medications. Examination was rushed, lung sounds taken through jeans jacket. It seemed that provider was in the rush. It did address my concern for previous abnormal labs. MD order lab repeat. I'm awaiting a call back since my labs are still abnormal. No communication so far.

No blood work is done prior to the visit eliminating the ability to discuss issues directly with the Dr. Have to wait for comments in portal which were timely but feel it's better to address in person. Advised to get pneumonia shot which as I've discovered was not really recommended until after age 65. Also wasn't told of side effects. I got fairly ill later in the day and the next day following the shot. I asked about side effects and was told by the nurse there weren't really any. Now the sheet given (after you get the shot) says there may in fact be side effects. That should have been disclosed. This felt like a way to add to charged services to me.

Meeting Dr. Jaremko for the first time, I was impressed. He took his time to answer all of my questions and concerns.

Physicals should be an hour appointment just as they used to be. 15 minutes is not enough. It shows how health has degraded because of for profit healthcare. The doctors are great but they are told to be speedy. Hartford Health Care needs some ethics

The entire physical was conducted with clothes on. Doctor simply asked questions and typed my answer into computer. None of the usual check for hernia or prostate. Tapped my knee through trousers. Cursory look into my ears. Not sure he looked down my throat.

Doctor Jaremko is ex excellent

My care required referral to "in house" neurology with resulting wait time for initial appointment of 92 days. My request for a second referral reduced that time to 46 days. I consider both these wait times unacceptably long for my condition.

All staff members were courteous, professional, respectful of me as a new patient. Given limited time constraints imposed by insurance/ medical practice, I felt Dr Jaremko was thoughtful and listened to my questions & concerns. He has a quiet personality. Glad he is taking new patients.
