I was there to see the physician assistant for the Lifestyle Medicine Program, and he was very good as usual. I can relate to him because he has sleep apnea as well and he gives me confidence that I'm doing a good job at getting more into shape. He also gave me suggestions on how to include fruits and vegetables into my diet and what to do with my walks. We also went over my blood work with my GI specialist somewhat thoroughly as well. I would absolutely recommend him and the Lifestyle Medicine Program to others.

Brad Biskup is truly one-of-a-kind. I’ve seen him for about 5 years. First and foremost, he’s very personable. Second, he’s one of the very few doctors who doesn’t immediately prescribe medicine. He works at understanding you as a total being and seeing if making progressive changes to your daily ways of living can first help. He’s not an all-or-nothing guy; he realizes that change takes place at different speeds for different people. He not only advocates for a healthy lifestyle, he spends a lot of time educating you about about HOW to start, what to eat more of, eat less of, and incorporates the all-important exercise aspects. He spends a good amount of time with clients and really cares about their outcomes. He provides in-depth webinars on many topics, including the importance of sleep and exercise, how diabetes affects you (and how to control it well), in-depth information on cholesterol and the different types of medications (and when you really need them), triglycerides, LDL, VLDL particles, and so on. The fact that he works in Cardiology is a huge benefit (that’s what the “C” stands for in PA-C). If you really want to take charge of your health in an educated way, he is definitely the one to see.

The physician assistant I saw in the lifestyle medicine program was very good, he showed great empathy for my weight loss/dieting issues & other medical concerns & I liked the plan that we were able to come up with together.
