More ways to help you look and feel your best.

You want to look and feel your absolute best and you deserve care from someone you can trust. Whether you’ve just had a baby, are recovering from cancer, or are simply ready for a change, Dr. E. Stirling Craig of Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is here to help you feel like you again. As a highly skilled, fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Craig provides expert care with a personal, compassionate touch. No matter where you are in your journey, you can count on her to help you feel confident, empowered, and truly seen.

Dr. Craig offers a full range of procedures, including:

Liposuction is a surgical procedure that uses a suction technique to remove fat from specific areas of the body, such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck. Liposuction also shapes (contours) these areas. Liposuction isn't typically considered an overall weight-loss method or a weight-loss alternative. The best candidates for liposuction have too much body fat in specific spots but otherwise have a stable body weight.

A traditional Face Lift usually begins by making an incision in your hairline, near the temples that follow around the earlobe, ending at your lower scalp. Fat is then removed and redistributed while tightening the underlying muscle and tissue to create distinct contours for a more youthful appearance. Finally, the skin is re-draped over the newly sculpted features, and the excess skin is removed, smoothing away wrinkles. With Dr. Craig’s expertise, the result is a very natural, youthful appearance.

The mark of a well-toned abdomen is skin stretched tightly across muscle with little fat – that’s where a Tummy Tuck comes in. While diet and exercise can reduce fat and tone underlying abdominal muscles, patients seeking this procedure have excess abdominal skin and fat, and in many cases separated abdominal muscles that cannot be eliminated or corrected by exercising or dieting. During surgery, the loose, excess skin and fat are removed and in most cases, the underlying muscles that have separated as the result of pregnancy are repaired.

Breast Augmentation is typically associated with increasing the size of a woman’s breasts, but there are many more benefits. Breast augmentation surgery restores the fullness and projection women may have lost due to weight loss or after having children. Patients with asymmetrical breasts can also benefit greatly from breast augmentation and love their new natural-looking, balanced curves.

Volume loss and fat redistribution are characteristic signs of aging that begin in our 30s and gradually progress. Injectable Fillers replenish lost volume and redefine facial contours that diminish over time. Injectable fillers are most effective for cheeks and nasolabial folds. They work immediately and one or two treatments each year can usually maintain your youthful appearance and enhance the results of surgical procedures.

Other cosmetic procedures include:

  • Mommy Makeover
